About the author (2007)

John Escott started out writing children's books and comic scripts, but now writes for students of all ages. He enjoys writing crime and mystery thrillers. John has published many stories for the Oxford Bookworms Series. Christine Lindop was born in New Zealand where she began her teachingcareer. She later taught EFL in France and Spain, and has worked as an editor, proofreader, and writer since 1993.
