Agree with another reviewer, Brett, that some of the hot button issues Pettigrew talks about are completely foreign to me, so I have no idea what's at stake or why I should care so much. My eyes kinda glaze over then.
But I'm a history buff and I've long suspected that something terrible happened to America in two stages.. from around Civil War time to 1870ish and then 1870ish to 1920.
This book confirms it.
This is absolute must reading for anyone who wants to live in truth. Just understand - the truth is really, really, unpleasant.
What is that truth?
Well, in a nutshell:
The Civil War did free the slaves...
but it also freed corporate powers to take over the American Republic.
By 1920, corporate powers have complete and totalitarian control of our nation: education, the financial system, the banks, the monetary system, every institution of significance, every industry of significance, the military. everything, even public opinion is theirs to manage.
Essentially we - all of us - all of America..
we are all WAGE-SLAVES working for invisible puppetmasters.
With that knowledge, try to enjoy your day!
