About the author (2010)

Bob Flexner has operated his own furniture making and restoration shop in Norman, OK for 30 years, and he has taught wood finishing and restoration for 20 years. He is the author of the authoritative and best-selling book, Understanding Wood Finishing (still in print after 15 years) and he writes the "Flexner on Finishing" column in Popular Woodworking magazine.
