About the author (1999)

Kenneth Cragg is a distinguished scholar of Islamic and Christian studies. His many books on the Qur'an and Arab Christianity, including The Even of the Qur'an, Muhammad and the Christian and Jesus and the Muslim (all published by Oneworld), have become classics in their field. Bishop Cragg obtained his doctorate at Oxford University and has served in academic and ecclesiastical posts in Jerusalem, Cairo, Nigeria and the USA.
