Well written, supported by research, complete... I love it. Might be a tad difficult to get through for the less scientifically minded readers.
I'm a T2 Diabetic who (for the past year) has been using ketogenic diets for blood glucose control. As an enthusiastic runner, the concept of carbo-loading has always worried me for it's potential to knock me out of ketosis and ruin my blood glucose control. Although I've researched ketosis and ketogenic diets extensively on the web for the past couple of months, this book gave me nearly all of the answers I was looking for. As well as being an excellent reference, the book is incredibly well written and I devoured the whole thing in just a couple of days.
If you're interested in the science and application of ketogenic diets (especially combined with exercise), I couldn't recommend this more highly.
