This book is a wonderful insight on OLD HOLLYWOOD. It's Class and it's Trash. Joan Crawford is very candid and very open at this point of her life. She knew her career as a Movie Goddess was now over. Mr. Newquist spent years sitting and chatting with Miss Crawford about the early days, her Prime Days and her fading years. She discusses many personal things about herself and other Big Names that she would have never shared during her BIG PICTURE DAYS. I have found a new fondness for the 'real' Joan Crawford. She is offensive at times, but real to boot. You've got to respect her for that. If you love all that Hollywood was, you will love this book. I couldn't put it down. It is truly 'juicy'.
