As I near the end of this fabulous read, I am sad to know that the end is near. This compelling novel has literally gripped my heart with sadness for the Comanche Indians and the unfathomable losses they suffered at the hands of the white man. Their simple and meaningful ways of living touch my soul in a very profound way. I am completely enthralled with Ms Robson's writing style, as I have never read anything quite like it. The intriguing way she puts her words together with every thought expansive to include parts of a picture in one's mind's eye that would normally not be considered, gives this story a cinematic view of every detail. I want more!
