About the author (2007)

George was a pro drummer-singer with many years U.S. road and studio experience throughout the 1970s, 80s, and 90s. He did film work in Hollywood during the 1980s as an extra; credits include Torchsong Trilogy and the original TV film The Return of the Incredible Hulk. Educated in radio and TV production, he has done voice-overs for radio, TV, film, and Internet in the U.S. and Europe, as well as technical writing. He currently lives in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, with his Dutch wife. Rick was a pro guitarist, composer, and songwriter. He relocated to Nashville in 1981 to pursue his song publishing and became well known playing the club circuit. He was also a vintage guitar expert; his Guitar Closet guitar shop located on Nashville's legendary Music Row quickly became a Nashville and Internet success. Rick rambled on to Daytona, Florida and Seattle, Washington before finally resettling along the coastal San Diego area in 2006. Sadly, Rick died on Thursday March 4, 2010 in Encinitas, California of cancer.
