About the author (1987)

Sue Berkman is an award-winning medical writer whose " how-to    articles have appeared in Good Housekeeping, Ladies' Home Journal, Esquire, and Discover. She is the coauthor of The Woman Doctor's Guide to Overcoming Cystitis. She lives in Amenia, New York, and, most important, she belongs to an HMO.
