About the author (2003)

Dr. Leonard Lee Rue III (Honorary Doctorate) is the author of numerous books on wildlife and is one of the most published wildlife photographers in the country. Dr. Rue was awarded the Outdoor Writers Association of Americas Jade of Chiefs Award for conservation writings, as well as the North American Nature Photographers Association highest award, The Lifetime Achievement in Nature Photography Award.
