Does Egyptologist KENNETH KITCHEN say the OLD TESTAMENT is correct when in the BOOKS OF JEREMIAH and EZEKIEL , it is prophecised that EGYPT will be totally destroyed; it's inhabitants expelled for some time and the cities of EGYPT turned into a burnt charred ruin by KING NEBUCHADNEZZAR and his BABYLONIAN armies ?!
It is HISTORICAL FACT that KING NEBUCHADNEZZAR and the BABYLONIANS NEVER CONQUERED EGYPT, despite what PROPHETS JEREMIAH and EZEKIEL predicted !
THE EXODUS NEVER HAPPENED EITHER.

K.A. Kitchen is a notable Egyptologist and spends about 500 pages discussing cases where archeology has confirmed the reliability of the Old Testament, cases where our archaeological knowledge is too limited to confirm the Old Testament, and cases where archeology has uncovered things paralleling the Old Testament. I found the book fascinating and informative. Kitchen argues that the Bible presents a generally accurate history of Israel.
