I LOVE this book!
Not only does it explain in great detail how these traditional and adaptable patterns work but it has a useful introduction to each section which further explains the types of weave in that chapter. I have been weaving only a short time but wished I had been pointed to this as a novice - I am now confidently drawing up my own designs having finally understood how the warping translates into pattern!
I think you MUST read the intros though if you are newish to weave.
