About the author (2000)

Bieter received his MA in History from Boise State University and is a former director of the internationally renowned Oinkari Basque Dancers. He is a doctoral student at Boston College.

Bieter is pursuing a law degree at Duke University. He is active in the American Basque Foundation and was a legislative assistant and assistant press secretary to Idaho First District Congressman Larry LaRocco.
