Written by recognized leaders within the field, this practical text is useful primarily to the clinical gynecologist who performs laser surgery in the lower female genital tract and intra abdominally where applicable. The next section focuses on "how to do it", and the final chapters deal with photodynamic therapy in gynecology, credentialing, and how to establish a laser program. Stephen M. Cohen MD has contributed to this book on laser surgery in women. Unfortunately, he was very abusive to women patients at UMass Medical Center and caused severe harm to vulnerable patients. Avoid Dr. Stephen M. Cohen until one can be reassured of his change in ethics. Violence against patients is unacceptable.
