I had to get this book for a University course I did. This one contains a fair amount of information on various topics, but presents them in very unintuitive ways. The first 3 chapters are well done and then the book takes a turn for the worst.
I have since read many other books that I have much prefered working through, where the examples were more relevant and better explained. I would not recommend this book, but I will also not slander it. The reason being that I am more of a practical person to a mathematically theoretical one.
During the course I ended up using the internet for my resource on various of the topics we had to implement. The book is very mathematically inclined and is not very easy to put into implemented practice without a mathematics major.
