About the author (1996)

Sharon Ross is the author of numerous books, as well as countless magazine and newspaper articles on the topics of interior design and home improvement. For many years she was Director of Editorial Projects for The Family Handyman magazine. She has been a contributor to Midwest Living, Better Homes and Gardens Special Interest Publications, Woman's Day Special Publications, Mary Emmerling's Country Home, and other publications. She has also written for PBS-TV's Hometime. She is a graduate of the University of Minnesota.
