About the author (2004)

Steve Bjorkman has illustrated more than seventy books for children, including Farm Life by Elizabeth Spurr, which Publishers Weekly called "a bountiful harvest of concepts and images," and Skinny and Fats, Best Friends by Cari Meister, which Kirkus Reviews called "jaunty" and "amusing." He loves pigs, especially of the superhero variety. He keeps his eyes open for swine in the sky in Irvine, California.
