Complicated text and a bit difficult vocabulary make this book hard to understand. Also the classification of the contents is awfully confusing. For general or also detailed information on NDE I have found Heiller's book much more intelligible and plain.
This book is a detailed reference source for those who are exposed NDT in their daily work such as Engineers and Machinist's that do not perform the inspections but wish to know more. For those who specialize in these fields, this book is great to have within reach when explaining difficult answers or just to refer back to. This book is a summary which is understandable. If one where to be specific about each NDT field, this book would be in volumes. Great Read!! Great Reference Material!!
