About the author (2007)

Leslie Patricelli is the author-illustrator of five board books that have become must-have titles for toddlers. Of THE BIRTHDAY BOX, she says: "I’ve watched my kids transform boxes into cars, boats, spaceships, hospital beds, dog carriers, snake houses, bass drums, forts, airplanes, sleds, and, yes, even a robot." Leslie Patricelli lives in Seattle.
