About the author (2000)

Napoleon Hill (1883-1970) is one of the founding fathers of the self-motivation movement. His Think and Grow Rich is the most widely acclaimed, influential book on success ever published. Hill was a protege of industrialist Andrew Carnegie, an informal adviser to Woodrow Wilson and Franklin D. Roosevelt, and author of more than 30 books. He founded Success Unlimited magazine with his long-time collaborator W. Clement Stone. His signal works are Think and Grow Rich, The Law of Success, and Success Through a Positive Mental Attitude (with W. Clement Stone). He was a Virginia native.
