About the author (2011)

Author Jeanne Foley, PhD, was head women's basketball coach at Princeton University in the 1980s. She played point guard on her St. Olaf College basketball team. Now, she teaches math and directs the Math Teaching & Learning Center at University of Wisconsin-Stout in Menomonie, Wisconsin. Her doctorate is in physiology and she is a fellow in the American College of Sports Medicine.
