I am an RN with over 25 years experience. When I was 26 or 27, I read this book. I was impressed enough by what he had to say that I started taking a daily dose of Apple Cider Vinegar, sometimes with honey if I had it on hand, for my itchy skin and scalp, and whatever else it might take care of. Here's where it gets weird. I had been having unprotected sex with my husband for over a year - no pregnancy, but no big deal. I had never really used any form of birth control & figured I just wasn't meant to have kids. The book also talked about getting a horse ready to "foal", but I never gave it a thought. After about three months on the stuff - bam! pregnant! I stopped taking it during the pregnancy because I wasn't sure if it would be safe. As soon as my daughter was born & I could, I started taking it again - you guessed it - bam! pregnant again. I stopped taking it, then about 10 years later I decided to give it another whirl (having forgotten about the pregnancies & possible correlation) - what happened? You guessed it! Pregnant again!
