Yertle The Turtle tries to get all the turtles in the pond of Sala-ma-Sond to make a throne for him, a bear and a hare argue who can hear or smell farther, but they can discover that an inchworm can see almost five thousand miles, Gertrude McFuzz swallows pills to get more tails than Lolla-Lee-Loo, and a lot of great things in the last story!

alot of people say that it is reading for 8-10 yr olds and i TOTALLY dissagree. when i was 10, i could read at a 12th grade level and i quite frankly doubt that that is 12th grade level....... Otherwise it is a really good book for young people.
