About the author (2003)

FRANK J. DANIELS, a prosecuting attorney for twenty years and for nine years the elected District Attorney for western Colorado, was the head prosecutor seeking justice for John Bruce Dodson. A graduate of the University of Denver, he earned his law degree at the University of Colorado. A hiker and backpacker, he is an expert on petrified and fossilized wood. With his wife and daughters, he lives in Grand Junction, Colorado.
