The book, RELUNCTANT REBEL, was written by Lt. Fola Oyewole. And it detailed a one-man account of what happened before, during, and after the 30 months Nigerian Civil War of July 1967 to January 1970 due to the then Eastern secession(Biafra). Detailing his imprisonment before the war, his freedom during, and his reimprisonment after, man is brought to realise what freedom means. The book was beautifully written and in harmony with many other publications on th primary issue discussed. With hints of humor every here and there, the book proves to be a ood read, regardless of some 'dry' military terms and information. The book ends with a question, rhetorical though it is, that brings one's mind to task:
How many years can some people exist
Before they are allowed to be free?

Ojukwu sets me free
Biafra goes to war 1
Into the MidWest
