Overall, the author did a great job of providing a layperson-level explanation of quantum physics. Unlike most similar books, I only lost the ability to understand the issues about three quarters of the way through rather than the usual third to a half. Zeilinger miraculously keeps the number of "just accept that this is true so you don't have to learn the math" explanations to a minimum. There is really just no way to make quantum physics simple so a single read through a popular book will let you grasp the complexities. The conceit of two students attempting to understand the principles by having them learn both the experimental setup and the results actually works quite well, providing a good hook and question-answer format that is helpful.
