Pat Croce is a New York Times best-selling author and founder of St. Augustine Pirate & Treasure Museum, and a pirate born 300 years too late. He lives in Philadelphia and Florida.

Dave Hopkins is an illustrator whose work has appeared in magazines from the Economist to MOJO, as well as hundreds of books. He lives in the UK.
