Breast Cancer Breakthroughs: Living Longer with 100 Most Commonly Asked Questions & Their Most Up-To-date Answers is an easy-to-read guide for women and families dealing with breast cancer. Dr. Memon narratively provides an intimate understanding of a doctor/patient relationship following the moment of pre-diagnosis to the process of post-treatment counseling.
As a young woman and a video journalist early in my career, I have relied upon this book as a source of information for both myself and my work. Westernization and its effects on the modern woman is an issue that shouldn't be taken lightly. More than ever, women are becoming increasingly susceptible to developing breast cancer due to their lifestyle choices and eating habits. The colorful dialogue gives amazing insight into the mental and physical effects of the entire process, which may serve as a great preventative tool as well. More importantly, this book guides you through the development of breast cancer itself.
I highly recommend this book, especially to young women!

Fantastically well-written. Real cases of patients with breast cancer, latest statistics, information about the latest research and treatment options.
The book is so interesting, I completed it in
just two sittings. Dr. Memon puts the reader in the mind of an experienced doctor and allows him to watch how the doctor analyzes the situation in a holistic manner looking at a patient as a human being first with all the emotions and special circumstances. The medical diagnosis and treatment expertly follow. Even a seasoned medical doctor is not free from his own emotions and as a reader I felt it as Dr. Memon seeks mental resonance with the patient as he records his thoughts in details and eventually comes to conclusions and decisions. The result is a solid medical treatment that is custom-tailored for each patient. All this time, as a reader I floated with his thought process and remained on the edge wondering how the case will turn out hoping and praying for the best and successful outcome.
Aside from the lucid writing and real cases, the book is full of vivid illustrations, latest statistics, information about the latest research and treatment options. Anyone with early signs to advance stage of breast cancer will benefit from this book. It will also benefit those who would like to know more about this dreadful disease that strikes millions of women worldwide.
