Claudine Gevry es hija de un escritor, y desarrollo un gran amor por los libros. Despues de titularse en diseno grafico de la Universidad de Quebec, paso algun tiempo trabajando para la television, pero despues de unos anos decidio volver a su primer amor, la ilustracion.

Claudine Gevry is the daughter of a writer, and developed a great love of books. Having received her Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design from the University of Quebec, she spent some time designing for television, but decided after a few years to return to her first love, illustration.
