We are reading this in school and I think it is a great book to read. It gets more interesting and makes you want to read on. Orwell did a fantastic book and I'm sure you'll think the same.

"Animal Farm" in my opinion is my favorite book. I just love how George Orwell made the totalitarian government into a whole farm of animals and he did it so brilliantly. This book captured my attention and made me really think about even our government and how even if we do not understand it we believe that the leader always is right. But is that always true?? Does the leader always know or has your best interests in favor?? This book gives you both sides of the story it asks a question I feel at the end of the book, I think in my opinion that question is, Are the pigs just like the humans??

this book in the beginning really confused me and i really didn't know what was really going on until about the 5th chapter. So could someone honestly give me a run through the whole book thanks because I'm clueless.

It is amazing book :) Orwell is a genius.I read few reviews and I like most "power corrupts" and "I miss Boxer" Today I agree totally with them probably people will read this book and will agree again after 50 years.
This book is about humanbeing itself, moral values and its nature. All political games, capitalism, socialism whatever you call it,ideologies, governments this book is all about them.It is like carboncopy.Take this characters and fable and apply it into any country in the world now.Regardless of government's,their ideologies or politics.Amazing satire.

The story moves around the theme of communism, which is lead through corruption, and wickedness by the leader, Napoleon. The animals of Animal Farm was lead by the 'intelligence' of the pigs, who were taken by ignorance, and believed themselves that they were the superior animals. Destroying the farm by lies and deceptions, leaving the poor, poor, and the rich, rich. The book shows how easily the one in top can have too much control and the power it is given. It is not easy to determine whether that the pigs had plan this from the start, or it was a separatist movement.
'Animalism' doesn't fail since all the animals are not intelligent enough to fight back. Shame that 'animalism' doesn't fall apart.

Animal farm is a wonderful book that tells us how foolish is communist ideology. Communism prospers where there is poverty. Communism does not offer any long term solution to poverty. No communist nation is rich.
