It is a good book for first year students,however there are some mistakes that might be confusing. For example page 34, it is said that Gaspar Bauhin was the first to apply binomial nomenclature and the year is 1956 !!
In page 35, Argemone mexicana is wrongly written as A. mexcicana.
I did not see more but 1 mistake per page... well it needs another revision and correction.
