I purchased my copy June 18, 1979 and now a licensed architect in California, Colorado, Kansas, and Missouri - my firm Ecological Architecture P.A. considers this to be the bible of underground or earth-sheltered housing design. We have it on the bookshelf next to Gentle Architecture by Malcolm Wells, and, The New Autonomous House, and next to The Graphic Standards of Solaer Energy, and next to our copy of the passive solar energy book. with modern fluid applied monolithic waterproofing and rigid insulation great strides have been made in earth sheltered or bermed housing and buildings.
