About the author (2005)

JERRY CRASNICK is one of America's top sportswriters. He has worked for the Cincinnati Post, the Denver Post, Bloomberg News, The Sporting News, Sport magazine, and Baseball America, and is a frequent guest on ESPN radio. He is currently ESPN.com's lead Insider baseball reporter. He lives in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
