You will wonder, "How did he come up with all that detail?" Only a writer who lived in such a setting could know this. Read Welch's other works as well; he is a remarkable story teller.

Very powerful ending, but I missed a lot along the way. I think I need to reread it keeping a little it closer track of the characters. Maybe I just needed to know the resolution of things to be able to keep everyone straight. Read full review
