About the author (1992)

Joan U. Levy is a name commonly seen on the covers of examination preparation guides. Levy earned a Bachelor's degree from the City College of New York, a Master's degree in Guidance and Counseling from Fordham University, and a Ph.D. in Behavioral Science. She has had more then two decades of teaching and school guidance background and has worked as a guidance counselor and educational evaluator for the New York Board of Education and served as director of the NJL College Preparation and Learning Center. Joan Levy has helped put together numerous test-taking guidebooks for examinations designed for career and educational advancement, including college entrance test study guides.
