About the author (1990)

Marjatta Nielsen, Ph.D is a classical archaeologist and art historian who has lectured at the universities of Copenhagen, Odense, and Lund. Most of her writings concern the Etruscans. She is also a specialist on Wiedewelt's Roman drawings.
