About the author (2011)

Robert Riggs, a career Marine, is a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars. Later, in the Department of Defense Senior Executive Service, he served asthe senior civilian logistician in the Marine Corps. A native West Virginian, he now lives with his wife, Marrea, in Winchester, Virginia.
