In one word, this book is "AWESOME".....A very promising book from Isaac Asimov, which is no wonder at all. It will keep you hooked until you've finished reading it. A very worthwhile and pleasant read.

Asimov does a wonderful job of logically analyzing what occurs in an atom from the basic electron-proton-neutron configuration down to the leptons, muons, tauons, and so forth. He ends the book with an excellent discussion on the expanding universe and how things may end. Enjoyable read. Read full review
