Though I'm sure it was quite a bit more useful back when it was first released, it's gotten a bit less relevant with the advent of Android 2.0. That isn't to say that it's worthless--far from it, actually--it's just a bit more advanced a title than I was expecting, given that it supposedly targets the newcomer to the field as well as the expert. If this is to be your first book, I would definitely recommend Sams Teach Yourself Java in 24 Hours and Hello, Android as companion titles.
not bad. It is written from the point of view of a professional, working programmer and as such is it very readable but sufficiently deep enough.TR:
fena kitap değil. Daha önceden programcılık deneyimi olan arkadaşlar kitabın bakış açısını rahatlıkla anlayacaklardır. Kitapta, her konuya biraz olsun değinilmeye çalışılmış, fakat yüzeysel anlatıldığından trick noktalarada pek değenilmemiş.
