About the author (2007)

Writers and photographers Carol and Dan Thalimer have lived in Georgia for more than 25 years, focusing much of that time on travel and hospitality. They have written for more than 50 publications, including "National Geographic Traveler" and the "New York Times". They are the authors of "Romantic Days and Nights in Atlanta" and "Fun with the Family: Georgia", among many other books on traveling in the South. They live in Cumming, GA.
