The level of abstraction can vary from a simple formula to a formal axiomatic

system. Whatever the level of abstraction, all models of

model attempts to describe the features of the object or the steps of the process,

for example, B. Bloch's immediate-constituent grammar. An explanatory model

attempts to explain the object or process, for example, S. Lamb's stratificational
