Arizona Border Patrol agent Tommy Wilkes is good at his job. He's honorable, he's brave, and he isn't afraid to fight for what's right. When two non-Hispanic illegal aliens try to enter the United States, Wilkes is suspicious. These foreigners are not what they appear; operating on instinct alone, Wilkes goes on the hunt.

On the other side of the world, archaeologist James Angeline has suspicions of his own. There has been a shocking discovery on a dig in the Saudi Arabian desert. This discovery could threaten the powerhouse religions of the world. Violence could erupt in the Middle East, but Angeline is not afraid to break the necessary news. As he prepares to unearth the truth, danger waits beneath the dirt.

As Wilkes and Angeline wrestle with the truth-and their own misgivings-an unholy alliance is trying to stop them. A conspiratorial group of religious leaders does not want Angeline's discovery released, and they will stop at nothing to erase it ... including terrorism. Will Angeline and Wilkes recognize what needs to be done, or will peace and faith be shattered?
