A raw (slightly unfinished), profound, autobiographical novel. Beautiful genuine searching about how to live. I know I am a mere adolescent philosophical dabbler, but Kazantzakis really speaks to me. Even his moments of profound religiosity are beautiful, in a way. Read full review
