About the author (1989)

Author Ed Scott was raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy after high school and traveled to Newfoundland, Portugal, and Morocco. He transferred to the U.S. Army and toured Spain, France, Germany, and England. His extensive travels gave him the opportunity to observe many cultures and to interact with people of differing religions and beliefs. Upon returning to civilian life, Ed became a licensed police officer with the Minneapolis {Police Department where he served for thirty-six years until his retirement in December 1998. During those years he attended several churches seeking answers for personal and spiritual growth. Ed is no longer affiliated with any particular faith or worship service. Ed attended several colleges and universities across the country. For more than forty years, Ed has studied comparative religions, metaphysics, philosophy, and spirituality as they relate to human consciousness and our beliefs. This search led him to become involved with The Institute for the Study of Human Awareness, where he served as the board president for fifteen years, until the year 2000. Ed has continued to be affiliated with the Institute for more than thirty years. Ed has also been a draftsman, a professional photographer, and a licensed aircraft pilot. Ed now lives with his wife in northern Wisconsin. In 2009, Ed was told by a psychic healer to get a book out of his head. He immediately began writing and publishing his experiences and knowledge and continues to share with others the history of the human experience and human potential.
