We've had two babies and the book has served us all really well through pregnancy and beyond. These are not the usual 'health food' recipes, they are creative. interesting and inspiring. There's also wise, sensible, enlightened nutrition advice. We eat healthy and have, in the past, eaten macrobiotic for a time but, at the same time, we also ate burgers, steak, macaroni and cheese, and ice cream if we felt a craving. We eat well but we're not healthy food Nazis.
In short, if you enjoy interesting food, you'll use this book during pregnancy and way beyond. Our kids are 6 and 4 and as I write this review, my wife is making the fabulous whole grain pancake recipe. They're the only pancakes I care to eat, all others are flavorless and flat.
