This was a really short memoir. Too short actually. But, we will get into that later. I still liked this, but it could of been SO much better. However, the good things first. The story was great. I am ... Read full review

I really wanted to enjoy this book. I begrudgingly rated Girl, Interrupted three stars---not for being exceptionally written, but for being bravely public with a personal battle. Maybe my judgment was ... Read full review

This book is only 160 some odd pages and it took me nearly a week and a half to get through it. I was underwhelmed to say the least. While it has some interesting parts and Kaysen's overall experience ... Read full review

This book was not the best I have read about young women with mental illness. I can appreciate the primary documents of her trials and tribulations (such as doctor's notes), but I don't remember anything else standing out about it. Read full review
