About the author (2000)

Day Leclaire is a popular romance writer who lives on Hatteras Island in North Carolina's Outer Banks. She began writing as a child and has since penned over forty novels, many of which are Silhouette Desire or Harlequin Romance titles. Leclaire is known for combining strong characters, passion, and humor in her books. Leclaire has won numerous awards for her fiction, including several Colorado Romance Writers Awards of Excellence, the Holt Medallion Award, the Golden Quill Award, the Romantic Times Reviewers' Choice Award for Best Harlequin Romance, and the Romantic Times Career Achievement Award in the Love and Laughter Category.
