This is an excellent text to begin learning about non-euclidean geometry. While there are a few minor typos, the exercises at the end of each section are very well constructed such that each exercise builds on the previous one facilitating a positive building of mathematical tools for the student. Chapter 4 needs a bit of re-work (rather hard to follow ... and visualize) but Chapters 1,2,3, and 5 are excellent (which is as far as I've got). A great price for students as well. I would really like like to see the next edition in hardcover for my personal library.
