The Campaign for Atlanta by William Scaife and William Erquitt is an excellent work written by local historians covering the Civil War Campaign. This work is extensive and covers all of the battles including local maps far superior to those produced at West Point.
The Coverage of the battle of Utoy Creek is the most important of the overlooked engagements of the Campaign.
This work is a must to add to your library on the Siege and campaign for Atlanta.
