About the author (2007)

Terry Copp is professor emeritus of history and director of the Laurier Centre for Military, Strategic and Disarmament Studies at Wilfrid Laurier University in Canada. He is the author of numerous books and articles on Canadian military history, including Cinderella Army: The Canadians in Northwest Europe, 1944-1945 (0-8020-3925-1) and Fields of Fire: The Canadians in Normandy (0-8020-3780-1), which won the Society for Military History's Distinguished Book Award for 2004.
